Butlins, Fun & Dancing
The afternoon performance of Jack and the Beanstalk had us grinning from ear to ear. We joined in with the booing and hissing and laughed out loud at the chaos that the Panto Dame caused!
It was a group decision to explore the local area. We drove to the picturesque village of Lynmouth and Lynton where we strolled along the cobbled streets and the meandering river. We then took a trip on the Cliff Railway which is the highest and steepest fully water powered railway in the world. Once at the top the views were spectacular.
Next we made our way to the Valley of the Rocks known for its unique rock formations where we all felt like we were in a different world.
Meeting the RedCoats was always a highlight of our holiday. They were always so friendly and loved hearing about what we gey up to on our holidays.
We caught the old fashioned steam train from Minehead to Watchet passing through the lush green fields all the way to the sandy beach. A lovely stroll around the harbour, soaking up the fresh sea air was just the ticket. We popped in and out of the quaint gift shops looking for some souvenirs to take home.
The entertainment never fails to disappoint! You will always find us at the front of the stage showing off our disco moves to the amazing tribute acts.
