Christmas Celebrations with Isobel & Daren

 Christmas Celebrations 

We were ready to get in the festive spirit and we knew we were going to have a wonderful few days at Warners. There were festive decorations and twinkly lights everywhere we looked! 

Festive hats and jumpers were donned as we celebrated our Christmas morning. 

To our utter delight we received the news that Santa had arrived! We excitedly gave him a big cuddle and he asked us if we were enjoying our stay. Luckily for us he agreed to have his photo taken with us which made our day. 

It was down to the sports hall for a fun game of curling. We split into teams and tried our best to hit the target mat to score highly.

Every night we were treated to some incredible shows.  Musicals Now was a medley of some of our most loved West End musicals including Mary Poppins, Joseph, Les Misérables and many more. We rocked the night away to The Pre-Amps, a superb four-piece British 1960s influenced pop/rock band with totally authentic versions of classic 60’s hits from iconic bands including The Beatles, Beach Boys, Hollies, The Monkeys and many more.

You would always find us dancing the night away in true JollyDays style showing off our disco moves. 

More fun activities were enjoyed, this time doing our best Robin Hood impression down at the archery shed. We were all impressed with our efforts and a few of us managed to hit the bullseye!

Armed with sweets and popcorn we took our seats for the afternoon pantomime of Cinderella. It was hilarious and encouraged lots of audience participation and we happily joined in with the booing and hissing throughout. At the end of the performance, we were able to get a group photograph with all the cast which would make a great memento. 

A relaxing time in the warm jacuzzi bubbles was the perfect way to end our busy days. 

 

Our group were keen to participate with as many activities as possible. Piano Feet was brilliant fun as we learnt to play Silent Night using our feet on the giant keyboard mat. There was line dancing classes, Christmas quizzes and Festive Scattergories where you raced against the clock to come up with unique Christmas themed words for each category.

It was then time to head outside for a fabulous firework display where we stood in awe as the night sky lit up in a kaleidoscope of colours.
