Warners- Gunton Hall with Rachel & Darren

 Warners- Gunton Hall

A brilliant day was spent at Merrivale Model Village. It is based on a quintessential English village but on a miniature scale. It has its own town centre, farm, sports stadium, zoo and holiday park. There is even a replica of Buckingham Palace with its very own crown jewels. As we sat and enjoyed lunch, it was so lovely watching the miniature trains chug around us on its tracks.
We wandered around the lake that was full of gigantic fish, bubbling their way up to the surface hoping to be fed some treats. We found something extra on show here as much to everyone’s surprise Banksy made a visit to the park and left behind his calling card. .He spray painted one of the barns in the farm area which is now safely encased but on view to the public. It was a fantastic sight to see.

We found a brilliant crazy golf course and we couldn’t resist a fun game, trying our best to get a hole in one!

The entertainment was always something we looked forward to. We were wowed by Gareth Oliver an amazing ventriloquist who had us all laughing out loud at his silly impression! What a clever guy he is. Another firm favourite amongst us was Musicals Now, performing music from the most loved West End and Broadway shows. The perfectly timed choreography routines and phenomenal vocal performances were sensational.

You could always find us dancing the night away, showing off our groovy moves.

We were in for a real treat at the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth. This old building was built way back in 1903 and is the only circus floor that sinks into a pool, and we couldn’t wait for the show to start. We watched amazing acrobats and aerialists perform death defying stunts, motorbikes spin around like the speed of light in an enclosed cage and the water spectacular show was like nothing we had ever seen before. It was simply amazing, and we were wowed by every performance.

We all enjoyed a walk along the seafront which was full of holiday makers enjoying the fresh sea air. At the end of the pier, we sat and admired the sandy coastline that went on for miles, soaking up the morning sun. After lunch we did some souvenir shopping for gifts to take home for our family and friends.

Feeling lucky we spent our holiday pennies on the 2p machine and the other fun holiday amusements.
