Italy - Sun & Sea with Tony, Ase & Isobel

  Italy - Sun & Sea

We were lucky to have the beach directly opposite the hotel. We couldn’t wait to get in the sea, so we all kicked off our shoes, rolled up our trousers and paddled in the crystal clear water.

Today we went on a boat cruise. On board our own little vessel we sailed along the river, spotting lots of ducks and their ducklings, swallows and other beautiful birds. We even got the chance to drive the boat!

We walked to the local weekly market which was very different to any market we had seen before. With lots of huge stands selling roasted meats and local specialities, there was plenty for us to choose from.

We came across an American restaurant that had endless choice of food to enjoy. With a lively atmosphere we enjoyed our meal surrounded by lots of American memorabilia. It was great fun being able to sit on the motorbike and have our photos taken!

We boarded the mini bus and drove up into the mountains, driving through some very pretty, quaint villages. Arriving at the medieval town, we took in the most spectacular views over the valley. It was totally breathtaking with stunning sights of a mixture of luscious green countryside and huge mountainous range.

In Spoltore we visited the local Church which was simply stunning with its very detailed architecture.

Our evening were spent singing and dancing the night away!

We all enjoyed spending time on the beach topping up our tan,  splashing in the sea, followed by few games with the ball. A fun time was had by all.
