Attractions of Blackpool
We were all
looking forward to seeing the famous Blackpool Tower. Our first stop was the 3D
cinema for a light show and short film. We all got sprayed with water which
surprised us all! Using the
towers lifts we ascended to the viewing platform and bravely stood on the glass
floor which was 2 inches of thick glass and allowed us to see all of the way
down to the pavement. The views out towards the sea were incredible. 
At
Madame Tussauds we saw the wax work figures of the famous celebrities. Lots of
photos were taken next to our favourite celebrity. We couldn’t believe how life
like they were.
Today
we were going to the infamous Ballroom where they film the TV show Strictly
Come Dancing. As the doors to the
Ballroom were opened we were amazed by the space and beauty of this iconic
building. There were very smartly dressed men and women dancing to the music
that the organist was playing. 
the
Dungeon Experience. With much apprehension we entered into the darkness where
over 1000 years of British history was told to us by actors. Some of us jumped
to the sound of screams and sudden appearances by the dungeons of the most
scary looking characters. We all made it out in one piece with huge smiles of
relief on our faces!
We enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach and of course treated our self to ice cream!
