Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside
We all got kitted out in our sailing clothes and life jackets. We
had an amazing time learning how to sail on
Barton broad - which was the exact same place that Lord Nelson learnt to sail
when he was a boy.
We took a ride along the rivers on board the
Nancy Bee, an electric cruise boat, which we all took a turn driving! Afterwards we all got rewarded with a certificate of competence at driving!
On the street, a spectacular performance was given from a group of Morris dancers and some of us were given bells and joined in.
We drove across the lovely Norfolk countryside
to the village of Holt, where we took a steam train ride along the coast to the
beautiful market town of Sherringham. We got off and wandered around the
various shops and bought gifts and souvenirs.
At the famous seaside town of Cromer we sampled the famous Cromer crab and cockles from the seafood stall. We also went along the pier and walked along the prom in the beautiful sunshine.
