Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside
We all enjoyed cruising down the river on the motor boat from
Ludham Bridge to Ranworth Broad. We each had our turn as
a captain driving, steering and tooting. This proved to be a fantastic experience!
On a beautiful day we enjoyed a relaxing morning sailing away on the broads. We
were astonished by the beautiful scenery and the variety of wildlife.
We had an amazing time canoeing! We got our equipment and off we went for our first canoeing session. We all listened carefully to our instructor who told us what to do and how to row efficiently.
We went to Sheringham and boarded the Poppy Line steam railway train to
Holt. The engine dates back from 1957 and it was as if we had stepped back in
time. We all sat back and enjoyed looking at the stunning coastline and
countryside whilst eating our picnic on board.
As always the JollyDays went ten pin bowling and enjoyed the friendly competition. In the evenings we enjoyed regular meals out in lovely country pubs and restaurants.
