 Butlins, Fun & Dancing  During our holiday we enjoyed having our picture take with all the Butlins fun attractions. We especially loved the giant chair! It was time to find the dance floor, where we danced energetically to the disco tunes. We all sang, shouted and cheered the night away.  We were also lucky enough to dance with  the Red Coats most of the night and were complimented on our brilliant dance moves. At the  fairground, we had an amazing time on the rides, these included the Go karts, bumper cars, waltzers and many more.  We also had lots of fun spending our pennies in the arcade too. Every night we were all looking forward to watch the amazing shows and tribute act. We saw the Bee Gees tribute band, the incredible band, Showaddywaddy and  the Spice Girls tribute act.  We went into Skegness, to see what this beach town had to offer.    Center Parcs Leisure Resort     Once we arrived at the beautiful Sherwood Forest we took a relaxing stroll around our peaceful surroundings.  At the sports hall we enjoyed friendly tournaments of ten pin bowling and pool. Everyone was very fair in their play and all had great fun!   Feeling energetic we had a game of crazy golf with some lucky ‘hole’s in one’ scored.  Nathan was our champion with Richard coming in at second place.  we headed to the pottery barn. We were able to pick from amazing array of pottery to paint from squirrels, mugs, bowls and plates. It was such a difficult decision to make! We spent the whole morning creating masterpieces that we were all very proud of. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.   Winter Sun in the Canaries   We all enjoyed spending time at the beach, paddling in the sea and sitting in the lovely sunshine. We took part in fun activities too, especially Boccia (Boules). A fantastic effort by all! Our first activity of the holiday was Rifle Shooting. It was such fun trying to hit the target. We had to really concentrate! The group managed to get some great scores, well done!  We excitedly boarded the coach for our day trip to the Timanfaya National Park to see the lava fields which were formed during the 18th and 19th Century eruptions. In the centre of the Fire Mountains we watched demonstrations where staff poured water down holes in the ground, only for it to burst back up again in a geyser like spout, a few seconds later. It was truly fascinating to be stood on the dormant volcano. Some of us took the opportunity to have a camel ride.
