Some of our group met up the night before we flew off to Tenerife, having a long journey to the airport. We all met up at Luton Airport and everything went to plan, with our flight leaving pretty much on time, and we had a nice smooth flight to the Canaries, leaving wet and cold England behind!    We hired 2 minibuses in Tenerife to transport the 13 of us to our hotel in Los Cristianos, which was just a 20 minute drive away.  Everyone was happy with the spacious rooms and as we had returned to the same hotel that we had used before, we knew just where to visit and that we only had a short walk to the seafront.    During the week we spent a day driving up into the mountains to see the Island's volcano 'Mount Teide'.  We took a boat trip to see the local pilot whales and dolphins and visited the local Jungle Park.  Every day the temperature hovered near 25 degrees and we all enjoyed walking around in T-Shirts and shorts even though it was almo...

After an exciting journey, we arrived at our 5* holiday village and settled in to our new surroundings. It was a case of unpacking and heading off to a well known pub for dinner and a chance to get to know each other over a relaxed evening before returning back to our bungalows for a drink. A lovely day to start our holiday! During our holiday we took some leisurely time to explore our holiday village.  It was a beautiful site and they had a Spa Hotel and the most friendly horses in the world!  They let us come right up to the stable doors and stroke them.  Everybody loved getting so close to them.    We drove into Blackpool almost everyday and visited the most famous attractions that Blackpool has to offer!  With our Big Ticket, we went to Madam Tussauds for a morning and had our pictures taken with our favourite stars!  We were amazed at how life like the wax-works were!  We also visited the Sea Life Center which was just incredible....

When we were all on board the Jolly Bus, we headed to our beautiful Hotel for lunch. After lunch we made our way to our luxurious rooms and unpacked before heading to the spa area to relax by the pool and await our first treatments.   Some people had manicures while others had facials.   After a relaxing afternoon we went back to our rooms to get changed for the evening and went out to explore.   We found a really lovely country pub and had a good chat about what beauty treatments we were going to have!   After a lovely breakfast overlooking the golf course, we headed to the spa area for a very hard day of relaxing by the pool and using the Jacuzzi and steam room.   One by one we headed off during the day for spa treatments coming back to join the group after, feeling refreshed and relaxed.   We all had lunch together in the spa and then relaxed all afternoon.   We headed back to our room late in the afternoon in time to change and hea...

Excited and raring to go we set off on our journey to Portsmouth!   We stopped off in a delightful little pub for lunch and then made the short drive to Hayling Island.   We settled into our lovely spacious rooms, unpacked our things and then went out to explore our site before dinner. A fter we had boogied the night away, everyone wanted to head into the piano bar for more live entertainment. What a way to start the holiday!   During our week away, we did some rifle shooting, darts, snooker, table tennis, ten pin bowling and some brilliant quizzes! We all won prizes for our excellent efforts! We took a walk into Hayling Island's Town and soaked up the stunning sea views and checked out the Island's hot spots!    We took a visit to Chichester Market which was fabulous and felt festive and vibrant.   Some of us bought gifts and souvenirs to take home to remind us of the holiday.  We saw a comedian one night who made us all...
