The Magic of Majorca
One of the highlights of the week was our excursion to Palma. The journey itself was scenic, winding past olive groves and coastal views before delivering us into the heart of the city. We wandered cobbled streets, admired historic buildings, paused beneath a 600-year-old olive tree at Plaça de Cort, and enjoyed a delicious lunch in a bustling square. The Cathedral of Santa Maria stole the show — its towering gothic architecture and breathtaking interior leaving us all in awe.



Beach day brought golden sands, sparkling seas, paddling, swimming, and plenty of laughter. A leisurely lunch at a seaside restaurant completed the picture, followed by more relaxation back at the hotel — including a particularly memorable moment when Scott was invited behind the bar to help make cocktails, much to everyone’s amusement.

Then came the day many of us had been waiting for: the boat trip. Cruising along the southwest coast with music playing and the breeze in our hair felt magical enough but it only got better. Dragonera Island offered rugged beauty and curious lizards, while a surprise dolphin sighting alongside the boat left us speechless. As the week gently slowed, we made the most of resort life: archery sessions, more aqua aerobics, relaxed lunches, promenade shopping, and soaking up the sunshine.
The evening entertainment continued to shine, from spectacular acrobatics to late-night dancing in town for those with energy to spare.That night, an Elvis tribute act had us dancing, laughing, and even joining the show, proving that holiday energy was still running high
