Music, Dance & Arts Festival- Latitude
Wow! What an atmosphere. There was so much to see and we didn’t want to
miss a thing so we explored a bit before taking our seats at the main stage. The headline act was the pop sensation, George
Ezra. We danced and sang along to all his chart topping songs and we didn’t want
the day to end.
We saw so many people dressed up in some very funky outfits and different genres of music pumping out from the various stages.
We went to the various different tents and watched such a variety of talented musicians. We also managed to watch some very funny comedians. The great thing about being at a festival too, was just sitting and people watching. It was fantastic to see everyone having an amazing time.
With much anticipation, it was time for the incredible Stereophonics to take to the stage.
Wow! What a memorable performance. The band were awesome as they rocked out on their electric guitars. Kelly Jones, the lead singer really got the crowd involved and we felt like we were at one big party. We were up on our feet, dancing until their last song.
Have you ever seen pink sheep before? We did!
Led did a great job painting our faces in
glitter as we got into the festival vibe. We even managed a spot of shopping where we bought stick on tattoos, beautiful handmade flower headbands and plenty of other little mementos.
We definitely
went out with a bang on the final day as we took our seats for the last act, Lana
Del Ray.
Not that we were sat down for very long as we all had our dancing shoes on, so much so that we were the last people dancing!
When we weren't partying we managed to find some beautiful woodland walks where we came across this great park.
Led fired up the BBQ and he did a smashing job cooking up a feast! We
all sat and relaxed whilst letting Led do all the hard work!
Exploring our surroundings, we headed out for a walk around the forest and along
the river, taking in the wonderful scenery. The flowers were out in full bloom
and the smells were gorgeous. It was so relaxing just sitting by the lake,
watching the world go by and soaking up the warm sunshine.
Oh we do like to be besides the seaside!
We spent the afternoon in the buzzing seaside town of Great Yarmouth.
Our first stop was at the ice cream shop, where we pondered over the many
different flavours. Next, we tried our luck in the amusement arcades on the 2p
machines. It kept us entertained for hours.
