Las Vegas, Live Shows & Grand Canyon with Darren & Isobel

Las Vegas, Live Shows & Grand Canyon

On arrival we were greeted with warm sunshine, we headed to our fabulous hotel The Flamingo.  After unpacking and freshening up it was straight off to stroll down the strip.

We explored some of the themed hotels including the Venetian with its stunning decor and river running through the bottom of the hotel which offers rides on the Gondolas. Then it was the Stratospheres where we witnessed people bungee jumping from the top of this huge hotel!

We headed to Nevada's First State Park Valley of Fire, known for its Outstanding Scenic Geologic and Archaeological features. This breathtaking landscape is vast and amazing to witness!

The Hoover Damn which was an amazing sight! The group went up on the high bridge which runs all the way across; it’s an incredible view of the Colorado River and the Dam itself! We saw the amazing Bronze memorial which was built to commemorate the hundred men who lost their lives during construction.

Arriving at the Grand Canyon we got a bus to take you to the best viewing points where we was greeted by the Hualapai Indian Tribe. They welcomed us and invited us to dance with them, a fabulous moment for the group!

The Skywalk at Eagle Point was the next stop. The glass bridge is 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon Floor a truly spectacular moment witnessing the amazing views of the Canyon!

Next we visited the Counting Cars Customs workshop and showroom, they restore and customise classic cars and motorbikes. Some of the beautiful designs and paintwork was a real thrill for some of the guys in the group!

M&M World went down a well with the group. Lots of treats and souvenirs were brought to take home with them!

Some of the group wanted to try the High Roller Wheel, which is 550 feet above the centre of the Las Vegas Strip. This is the World’s Tallest Observation Wheel with 360-degree views of The Strip & the Las Vegas Valley, an unforgettable moment and such a thrill!

We headed for the Mirage Hotel to watch the Volcano show a spectacular display of loud music, explosions and fireballs a great way to end our last evening in Vegas!
