Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside
After getting kitted out with life jackets and with enough wind, we sailed smoothly and we all had a go at steering the boat and changing the sails.
Another day we went in the canoes, paddling along the quiet river and into the edges of the
open Broad. We watched out for the varied wildlife along the way.
By train, we travelled along the narrow gauge line between Wroxham and Aylsham.
The carriages were cosy and the smell of the smoke was proof of the train
chugging along the line, we provided our own whistle and sound effects from the
carriage!
We took a ride along the rivers on board the Nancy Bee, an electric cruise boat.
Along the way we all had a go at controlling the boat, driving and steering around the quiet parts of the open water, a thoroughly relaxing way to enjoy a holiday.
