Sunny Butlin's in Minehead
Our
holiday began with a long but worthwhile journey, as we approached Minehead we
could see from a long way off the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Playing on the amusements was great fun and we tried our best to win some money. A few of us got lucky and managed to win a couple of pounds and some
lollipops. We also had a friendly competitive game of bowling girls VS boys.
Fun had by all!
We had a fantastic day at the funfair and a lot of fun driving the go-carts and flying on the aerial ride.
After driving through the delightful countryside, we continued our journey through moors until we reached Lynmouth. We decided to have a walk around the harbour and up through the town centre.
What a beautiful place!
Paul went on the fair ground swing that took him up high which gave him magnificent views of the bay!
After an exciting day at the amusement arcade and fairground, we went for a leisurely walk along the sea front.
On our last night we had such a great evening at the spectacular “Freddie “show with all the songs we
know from Queen’s song book, it was such a fantastic show.
We
all agreed of having such a wonderful time at Butlin's and couldn't wait to come back!
The holiday was full of great memories!
