Warners, Fun & Dancing (Cricket St Thomas) with Leo, Naomi & Rachel

 Warners, Fun & Dancing

Our JollyDays adventure began as we travelled to Cricket St Thomas, enjoying stunning countryside views of rolling green fields and grazing sheep along the way. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by staff and settled into our luxurious accommodation before gathering for a pre-dinner drink.

The morning kicked off with a fun History Quiz, followed by a fascinating talk from historian Ruth Goodman, who brought the past to life with stories of everyday history. After enjoying the fresh air, we tried our hand at line dancing, which brought plenty of laughter as we mastered the steps together.

The evening meal once again delivered delicious food and great company. That night’s entertainment raised the bar even higher, starting with a Blues Brothers tribute before the outstanding Fleetwood Mac tribute band Go Your Own Way took to the stage. Singing, dancing, and smiling filled the Pavilion until bedtime.

Sunday was a very special day as we celebrated Keith’s birthday filled with birthday wishes, cards, and presents.

With expert guidance, we soon found our aim down at the archery range. After some impressive shooting, Keith emerged as the overall winner.

The afternoon took us to the seaside town of Weymouth, where we enjoyed traditional fish and chips by the sea, sunny promenade strolls, shopping, and beach time. A visit to Portland Bill followed, where the breathtaking views of Chesil Beach and the Fleet lagoon left everyone in awe.

After a gentle start we visited to Ferne Animal Sanctuary. Set in peaceful Somerset countryside, it provided a calm and heartwarming end to the trip.
