Disneyland Paris with Midi, Nina & Netty

 Disneyland Paris

Stepping into Disneyland Paris felt like crossing into another world. Halloween shimmered everywhere, pumpkins grinned from every corner, decorations sparkled in the sunlight, and ahead of us rose the breathtaking Sleeping Beauty Castle, glowing pink and gold like a real fairytale palace. We began gently, drifting into the magic with classic rides that made us laugh and wave like children again on the spinning teacups, soaring elephants, and musical boat journeys where the songs stayed in our heads long after we stepped off.

Soon the thrills called to us. We raced through the Wild West on Big Thunder Mountain, the runaway train rattling and roaring as we whooshed around bends, our screams turning into laughter. Then came the galactic rush of Hyperspace Mountain, where we blasted through darkness and stars at lightning speed, hearts pounding as if we’d truly launched into space. For the bravest among us, the eerie grandeur of Tower of Terror delivered shrieks and giggles in equal measure as the lift plunged without warning, leaving our stomachs somewhere above us.

One of the most unforgettable moments was meeting Mickey Mouse himself. Seeing him in person felt like meeting the heart of Disney magic. He greeted us with cheerful waves and warm hugs, posing for photos as if we were the most important guests in the world. The smiles on our faces in those pictures say everything — pure joy, pure wonder.

The parades were pure magic in motion. As the music swelled, floats rolled past like moving storybooks with princesses waving, villains posing dramatically, dancers twirling in glittering costumes. We clapped, waved, and cheered as if they could see each one of us personally, and somehow it really felt like they could. It wasn’t just a parade; it was a celebration of imagination unfolding right in front of us.

Nightfall brought a different kind of wonder. We gathered together, buzzing with anticipation, as the castle transformed into a canvas of light. Fireworks burst overhead in cascades of colour, perfectly timed to soaring music. Gold sparks shimmered like falling stars, blues and reds painted the sky, and reflections danced across our faces. In that moment, standing side by side, we didn’t just watch the spectacle, we felt it.

Between adventures we became heroes, toys, explorers, and dreamers, meeting beloved characters, sharing meals full of chatter and laughter, and discovering that the most magical moments were often the simplest ones we spent together.
