Potters Leisure Resort
Excited to be at Potters once again, we didn't hesitate to make use of all the great facilities they have onsite. We began down at the shooting range. This requires a lot of concentration and focus. After a few goes, this proved not to be a problem for our group, and we were fierce competition for the other participants. Next, we moved onto archery and after a few practice shots we soon had mastered the technique, giving Robin Hood a run for his money!
We were all rewarded with a medal for our efforts and we wore them all day!
We headed off to enjoy the rare December sun. What better way than to head for a day out on The Broads. Our friends at The Nancy Oldfield Trust were kind enough to take us on a gentle afternoon cruise on one of their motorboats. It was a perfect way to see The Broads and spot some of the local wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see some herrings, swans, an otter and even a deer.
Sporting our bowling shoes, stretches complete, drinks on the table it was nail biting stuff down at the bowling alley. Allison started strong, bowling the first strike of the game with Alan following in her footsteps. He was delighted and even gave us a little celebratory dance! We finished our game with everyone having a great time and scoring really highly.
The arts and crafts studio pulled us in and it gave us a chance to show off our creative side decorating gift boxes. We enjoyed the peaceful and calm environment as we all did our best to decorate our pretty little boxes. Some used glitter, some used paper mâché, whilst others used stickers. We were all impressed with our end products.
The Potters entertainment team put on a showstopper of a performance every night. The glitz and the glamour, the pitch perfect vocalists and the hilarious antics from Buzby always left us with smiles on our faces, wanting more!
