Bowling & Pool Competition- Essex
After a lot of lively debate over who might be this year’s winners it was off to Legends Pool Club to begin the competition!
After picking our lucky cue’s we racked up the balls and it was game on! We had some amazing pool players and sometimes the competition was too close to call. After a couple of hours of intense action, the four semi-finalists were decided for tomorrow!
Everyone was in high spirits as we made our way to the bowling alley to begin the first round of our bowling competition.
It was back to Legends for the semi-final and the final of the pool competition where tensions were running high throughout the finals. We had so many great players the competition was very close and exciting.
Our overall winner was Joseph, with Mark a very close runner up. Well done boys! All the participants played extremely well and everyone was great sportsmen and women and congratulated one another on their success.....and no one left empty handed!
It was time for the second leg of the bowling tournament. We all quickly got into our bowling stride and the competition really heated up with plenty of strikes, spares and some more big scores! There was lots of cheering each other on which was lovely to see.
The third and final leg of the bowling contest commenced and there was some serious competition. Tensions were very high as we all concentrated on our game, closely watching the other players to keep an eye on their scores! It was an extremely close competition, and everyone was keen to find out who had come out on top and who would be the overall champs of the competition.
Then the drumroll started! It was the moment that everyone had been working towards and looking forward to the most….the prize giving ceremony! Our champion of the tournament was Joseph winning both the pool and bowling competition! An amazing achievement! Everyone was awarded certificates for their great sportsmanship and participation along with a lovely shinny medal. As Joseph came up to collect his trophies the rest of the group gave him a huge cheer. It was such an amazing moment with everyone being supper proud of their achievements over the last few days.
