Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside
In the canoes we paddled and sailed steadily down the canals whilst spotting a wide range of wildlife.
We boarded the Nancy Bee for a trip along the Barton Broads. We all sat back and relaxed. As we approached the River Ant,
we took it in turns to steer the boat and found that we were very good at it!
Plenty of ice creams were enjoyed during our holiday!
We board the Bure Valley Steam Train from Wroxham to Aylsham. The scenery was
beautiful and everyone enjoyed waving to the passers-by. Once at Aylsham we
took the opportunity to meet the driver and had a photo or two next to the huge
engine!
We had such a wonderful time learning how to sail. Everyone
took their turn to steer the Blue Bass through the water.
We went to Sandringham Flower Show and had a wonderful day taking in the sights and
looking at the competition entries in the flower and produce tents. We were
thoroughly impressed with the size of the vegetables and loved judging the cake
entries for ourselves!
Some
of us even managed to spot the Prince of Wales and the Princess of Cornwall and
waved them by as they made their way to Sandrigham House.
At the Sea Palling beach we had great fun dipping our toes in the sea and jumping the
waves. A few of us enjoyed building sandcastles whilst others sat back and
relaxed or played bat and ball in the sun.
