Butlins, Fun & Dancing
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!
At the funfair we went on the Carousel, Bumper Cars and Go Karts. We tried our luck at Hook the Bag and won some superb prizes to take back home with us!
At the Seal
Sanctuary we watched the rescued baby seals at feeding time which were
being nursed back to health and eventually, they will be released back into the
sea. We fed the greedy goats and alpacas before heading into the Tropical
House where we watched all the beautiful, different coloured species of
butterflies fluttering around, amongst the glorious display of flowers and
plants.
We went to the seafront
and had a lovely walk on the beach before going along the promenade where we popped in
and out of the small shops to buy postcards, sticks of rock and souvenirs. A
trip to the seaside wouldn’t be complete without an ice cream!
We were all looking forward to a few games of bowling. With great team spirit and some friendly competition some fantastic
strikes were had with some big scores too!
During our week, we saw some fantastic show from the Redcoats entertainment team! We watched tributes acts, bands, pantomime and even a magician!
All the shows had us all up
singing and dancing with the Redcoats who joined us on the dance floor. We
danced the night away with smiles on our faces.
We played adventure golf with some great putting on this
challenging but fun course. Some of us only took two shots on some of the
holes. Amazing! We laughed a lot through the course as it was such fun!
