Butlins, Fun & Dancing
After
unpacking and making ourselves comfortable we were keen to go and explore what
Butlins had to offer. There were so many activities for us to do, we knew we
were going to have a great time!
Everyone had
a smile on their faces as we galloped round on the Carousel, bumped into
each other on the Dodgem Cars and took a ride on the monorail around the park.
Everyone loved hooking the duck!
The
market was on today so we headed there. Everyone enjoyed looking at the
different stalls and some bought some souvenirs to take home. We also found a really nice ice cream parlour that had plenty of flavours to choose
from.
At the Sea Lion rescue centre, we arrived in time to see them
being fed and we laughed as they showed off their tricks to us. We couldn’t
believe how clever they were! It was then our turn to feed the lamas and goats.
We thought they were very greedy! Next we saw the snakes, tropical birds,
butterflies and the cute penguins.
We
drove along the coast to a place called Gibralta. Here we walked out to the
Bird Watching hut where we looked through binoculars to see if we could spot
any birds. We learnt a lot about the different species of birds too.
Another fabulous week at Butlins!
