Butlins, Fun & Dancing with Andy & Isobel

  Butlins, Fun & Dancing

We headed out in the minibus to Lynmouth, admiring the breathtaking scenery along the way. At Lynmouth we walked along the river edge until we reached the coastline with spectacular views over the sea.

We then took the Cliff Top Railway up to Lynton. This is the steepest water powered railway in the world providing stunning coastal views. Making the most of the beautiful weather we enjoyed wandering along the paths, popping in and out of the little boutiques and souvenir shops.

In the evening we danced and sang the night away to Freddie Mercury, Sir Elton Jogn andThe Beatles tribute band!

The entertainment team put on an amazing pantomime, Cinderella Rocks, which provided us with lots of laughs. We were amazed at how they remembered all their dance routines!

We couldn’t wait to go to the bowling alley for a few games of tenpin bowling. Two teams battled against each other and both got some fantastic high scores and even managing a few strikes!

At the adventure mini golf we had a great time putting our way through this fun course.

Bursting with excitement we couldn't wait to try all the rides at the fairground. We went on the swing ride, carousel, bumper cars, waltzers and the umbrella ride.

Another day we headed to the West Somerset Railway for a trip on the Steam Train to Watchet. The journey was fabulous with the group admiring the beautiful countryside and views along the way. At Watchet, we took a relaxing stroll from the station down into the harbour. We visited the small but informative museum and managed to walk up to the lighthouse and admire the stunning views.
