Attractions of Blackpool
We could hardly wait to start our holiday in Blackpool.
We had a leisurely walk along the coastal seafront and enjoyed popping in the arcade to spend a few pennies on the amusement machines.
On top of the Blackpool tower we experienced some excellent views of the coast.
We were able to stand on a glass floor that looked all the way down to the
ground. Apparently it could hold the weight of 2 elephants!
At the Sea Life Centre we saw so many amazing fish and sea creatures. Some
of our favourites were the sharks, sting rays, lobsters, sea horses, dory, and
much more. We also walked through a wonderful rainforest which was interesting. 
We were all looking forward to visit the famous Tower Ballroom,
which is where they film Strictly Come Dancing! We spent the afternoon having a
beautiful lunch and watched all the ballroom dancers perform in this stunning
building.
We visited the famous Madame Tussaud's which was great fun with lots of laughter. We
saw Simon Cowell, Ant and Dec, Morecambe and Wise, Wayne Rooney, The Beatles,
Tiger Woods, Bruce Forsyth and many more famous wax models. They all looked so
life like and we all managed to get our photos taken with our favourite
celebrities.
We all thoroughly enjoyed driving through the Blackpool Lights which were magical and certainly lived up to
their name.
