Butlins, Fun and Dancing
On our first evening we enjoyed the evening entertainment which started with a few disco hits followed by some dancing on the dance floor. We watched the show called 'The Hitmaker', which was a celebration of the work and music of Nile Rodgers. The group thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment!
We headed to Natureland Seal Sanctuary where we watched the keeper feed some seals and penguins. We bought some food there and fed the goats and alpacas.
We visited the Tropical House which was home to many crocodiles, snakes, spiders and beautiful tropical butterflies and birds. The meerkats were a big hit - we watched them play and forage for food.
It was a morning spent at the funfair today. The waltzers and dodgems were great fun and the group won a teddy each – they were delighted with their prize. Everyone had such a lovely time that the next day we returned again for another chance to ride on the Carousel!
We enjoyed a game of bowling. There were quite a few strikes during this game and the highest scorer from each of the teams were Laura and Susan; who showed great skill! They were both presented with a Butlins mug for their wonderful effort and high scores.
