Winter Sun in the Canaries
What a fantastic time we had during our holiday! Our hotel was fabulous, we especially enjoyed spending time soaking up the beautiful sunshine by the swimming pool. We also had great fun playing friendly tournaments at the outdoor pool table.
On a glorious day we visited Tenerife zoo and spent time walking around and seeing the many animals. The
highlight was the lions and cheetahs. 
An exciting day was spent at “Aqualand” a local water park. The
park was awesome and everyone had so much fun on the slides, flumes and the lazy river. We also enjoyed watching the fantastic dolphin show.
On a day with clear blue skies we went to view “Teide” the active volcano in the middle of the island. After driving around the winding roads we arrived at a viewing point, 2000 metres above sea level and had great views of the volcano, which last erupted in 1909.
We boarded the whaleboat and sailed out to sea to search for Dolphins and Pilot Whales. We
were lucky enough to see at least 25 whales! What an incredible experience for
us all.
