The Island of Malta
During our holiday we had a fantastic time discovering the history of Malta. We enjoyed leisurely strolling around the city streets admiring the original architecture.
We wandered around market stalls sampling sweets, cakes and
bought gifts and souvenirs to take home.
We took a boat trip that took us to Marsamxetto Harbour and then into open water
before entering The Grand Harbour. From the boat we had magnificent views of
the city with it’s impressive buildings, monuments and amazing yachts.
We spent time swimming in the hotel pool and relaxing on the beach sun loungers, soaking up some of the beautiful sunshine. 
We visited Malta’s Aquarium and all agreed it was fun looking at the many colourful fish and amazing sea creatures. We all loved watching the sharks, rays and other large fish swim above our heads whilst walking through the aquarium tunnel!
We had amazing evenings full of fun, dancing and singing. It was truly a brilliant holiday full of great memories to take home!
