Potters Leisure Resort with Jim & Netty

Our much anticipated holiday was kicked off in style with as much singing and dancing as we could possibly manage!  Last off the dance floor, we showed off our moves with gusto!

Our week was jam packed full of fun and laughter, taking part in lots of fantastic activities.  We were excellent contenders in a number of tense quizzes - well done Team JollyDays for some cracking efforts!  We entered the artistic realm by painting pottery, played a nail-bitingly close round of Curling, shot some pool and had an exciting game of archery where we all won medals - what fun!

Some of us partook in a rather intense rally at the table tennis table, whilst others had a gentle game of badminton.  We enjoyed the relaxing swimming pool, where some of us swam some lovely leisurely lengths.  We had a great game of Crazy Golf with some marvellous holes in ones!

One afternoon we took a drive into Great Yarmouth and had a smashing game of ten pin bowling and a delightful walk along the prom ("Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside...!")

Our evenings were spent in the fabulous Atlas Theatre, where we watched an array of hugely entertaining shows.  We saw The Squadronaires Big Band, Len Phillips Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Jeff Hooper and his Big Band and many more.  We often headed into the mellow Terrace Bar, where we enjoyed some wonderful vocalists that sang us through the nights.

Thank you to all that made it such a fantastic holiday!
