All aboard the JollyBus and Butlins here we come!! Wow - what a colourful, exciting and fun filled week we had. We danced until our socks flew off!
We had some fantastic fun at the fair flying high on the terrific Paratroopers, holding tight on the Rock 'n' Tug, waving as we went on the Carousel, daring the dodgems and rocketing down the Helter Skelter!
Some of us had an absolute blast at Splashworld, whizzing down the flumes, Master Blaster raft ride, bubble pools and the wave machine. Others enjoyed a more restful time strolling leisurely through the shops and purchasing some excellent souvenirs.
We had a superb game of Crazy Golf - there was some very skilful playing indeed! Charlotte braved the climbing wall and we clapped and cheered her on - a massive well done! A fantastic game of ten pin bowling revealed our competitive streaks - a brilliant effort from all.
We headed into the nearby historic town of Arundel which is of course dominated by it's beautiful castle. We loved walking through the picturesque streets. We even dipped into an old fashioned sweet shop and bought a few goodies!
On one sunny evening, we wandered along the prom to the local fish and chip shop, which everyone agreed must have been the best in town by far! Delicious!
Our evenings were packed full of brilliant entertainment, singing and dancing. We saw tributes to Ray Lewis, The Jersey Boys, Queen and The Beatles! What a week full of wonderful memories - thank you to everyone for such a fun filled holiday.
