The days that followed were filled with a perfect balance of activity, relaxation, and time spent together. Mornings began with hearty breakfasts, often accompanied by sightings of local wildlife including ducks, pheasants, and even deer. One of the first highlights was pottery painting, where creativity took centre stage as plain items were transformed into colourful keepsakes. This was followed by a visit to the Pancake House and a peaceful lakeside walk, enjoying the sunshine and the natural surroundings.

Adventure and friendly competition became a theme throughout the week. Activities such as adventure golf, shuffleboard, target archery, pool, and bowling brought out everyone’s competitive spirit, with plenty of close contests and moments of celebration. The group embraced each activity with enthusiasm, supporting one another and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Medals were awarded for various competitions, adding to the sense of fun and achievement.

There was also time to relax and take in the surroundings. Whether enjoying a drink in the sunshine, watching the wildlife, or simply unwinding at the lodges, the slower moments were just as enjoyable. A highlight for many was the tranquil boat ride across the lake, offering a peaceful and picturesque experience, followed by a picnic together in the fresh air.

The highlight for many was the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, where slides, wave pools, and the lazy river provided both excitement and relaxation. Whether taking on the Typhoon slides, enjoying the rapids, or simply floating along, it was an experience enjoyed by all.
