Warners, Fun & Dancing (Lakeside)

Image
Warners, Fun & Dancing (Lakeside) Our holiday had started and once we had discovered it was a Rock & Roll themed weekend made our spirits soar we could already pictured ourselves dancing the night away in true JollyDays style.  The day unfolded in cheerful bursts of activity: browsing handmade treasures at the craft fayre, friendly competitions in bowls and cornhole, and laughter-filled moments that turned simple games into shared triumphs. Applause rang out when impressive scores were achieved. Later, guided by our instructor, we tested our aim at rifle shooting, cheering especially loudly for the sharpest shots. In between, we relaxed with games, treats, and a little pampering, enjoying that perfect balance of activity and leisure. There was time for a little pampering, enjoying that perfect balance of activity and leisure.  Sunday shone just as brightly. Disneyland Paris with Midi, Nina & Netty

Disneyland Paris  Stepping into Disneyland Paris felt like crossing into another world. Halloween shimmered everywhere, pumpkins grinned from every corner, decorations sparkled in the sunlight, and ahead of us rose the breathtaking Sleeping Beauty Castle , glowing pink and gold like a real fairytale palace. We began gently, drifting into the magic with classic rides that made us laugh and wave like children again on the spinning teacups, soaring elephants, and musical boat journeys where the songs stayed in our heads long after we stepped off. Soon the thrills called to us. We raced through the Wild West on Big Thunder Mountain , the runaway train rattling and roaring as we whooshed around bends, our screams turning into laughter. Then came the galactic rush of Hyperspace Mountain , where we blasted through darkness and stars at lightning speed, hearts pounding as if we’d truly launched into space. For the bravest among us, the eerie grandeur of Tower of Terror delivered shr...

Potters Leisure Resort (Five Lakes) with Jamie, Ellie & Debbie

Image
Potters Leisure Resort We were ready for a full day of creative and competitive fun. We started with bag crafting and painting - Mickey Mouse faces, spooky Halloween designs, and colourful patterns brought out everyone’s artistic side. Next, an intense game of Jenga had us balancing towers and holding our breath through dramatic crashes. Rifle shooting followed, with Callum, Darren, Alan, and Jack taking home medals for top scores. After coffee and live music from Josie, we hit the archery range — Tracy and Richard claimed victory with impressive scores of 73 and 52. Then it was bingo night in the Glade Theatre. Though no one hit the jackpot, we laughed until our sides hurt. The evening ended with  Frankie & Guys , a high-energy celebration of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, and the Silent Disco — dancing and laughter carried us to bed.
