The Magic of Majorca with Jamie, Darren & Hayley

The Magic of Majorca
The sun was shinning and we couldn't wait to make a splash and show off our swimming in the fabulous pool.

Beach days are our favourite kind of days. The crystal clear water was so inviting and after a dip, we relaxed, soaking up the sunshine.

We set sail on our glass bottom boat along the coastline towards Isla Dragonera. The scenery was spectacular from the top deck as we cruised along the rugged coastline past the cliffs of Sa Mola. We saw some impressive yachts at Port d’Andratx and took in the lovely sights of the village San Telmo before stopping at Dragonera Island. As we stepped off the boat, we could instantly see lizards scurrying around, it felt so surreal.

At Cala d’Egos where the captain lowered the anchor for a swim stop. We needed no persuasion to jump into the gorgeous water for a cool dip. There were fish swimming all around us.

It's always ice cream time when we are on holiday!

The hotel had so many great activities for us to participate in. Certificates were received for our great archery skills and we got some super rallies going over on the volleyball court.

The mocktails certainly got us in the holiday mood.

The evening entertainment wowed us every night. From live music to incredible acrobatic and fire breathing displays.

A must was heading to the capital Palma. On arrival, we were instantly greeted by its beautiful, historic architecture, and we soaked up the city vibes. We took a walk through the old, cobbled streets towards one of the historic landmarks Placa de Cort which is the local town hall built between 1649 and 1680.

It was very impressive and surrounded by a square of cafes and restaurants. In the square there is also a very unique and famous ancient olive tree named Olivera de Cort thought to be 600 years old. Moving on we walked through more of the quaint streets until we reached the incredible Catedral- Basilica de Santa Maria de Mallorca, also known as La Seu, a gothic roman catholic Cathedral completed in the 1600’s. We took ample photos opportunities before continuing on across the bridge to many market stalls.
