 Attractions of Blackpool 

Oh we do like to be besides the seaside! We were all so excited to be visiting the main attractions. 

The Tower Ballroom was everything we imagined it to be with its sprung floor and spectacular architecture. We danced away to the sounds of the Wurlitzer doing out best Waltz and Cha Cha Cha. 

Armed with sweets and popcorn we took our seats for the infamous Tower Circus. Delivering incredible stunts with belly laughs aplenty, we met legendary clowns Mooky and Mr Boo who are joined by some amazing acrobats and stunt performers from all around the world. 

We felt like royalty as we rode down the promenade in our very own horse and carriage. 

A brilliant underwater adventure was enjoyed at the Sealife Centre. From sandy shores to ocean depths with over 50 displays for us to explore. It was amazing to be able to touch a starfish who were not a soft to touch as we had imagined. 

It was time to rub shoulders with some of our favourite celebrities at Madame Tussauds. From judging Strictly Come Dancing to dodging the critters from I'm a Celeb with comedy duo Ant & Dec. 

There were sporting stars galore from Muhammad Ali to Olympic champion Mo Farah.

It was down to Abbey Lane to record some hits with The Beatles, rock out with Freddie Mercury and meet one of our all time favourites Ed Sheeran.  

We visited Blackpool's newest attraction Showtown. Here we discovered the stories of the comedians, dancers, acrobats and characters who turned this  resort into the home of show business. There are six galleries showcasing the very best of the seaside, magic, circus, Illuminations, shows and dance. It was so much fun and we loved being able to dress up as clowns and even design our own Blackpoll Illuminations. 

It was game on down at the bowling alley and our competitive side soon came out. There were high scores and a few lucky strikes! It was great to see such good sportsmanship amongst the group.
