Butlins, Fun & Dancing
It was down to the funfair for a few thrill seeking rides. The swing chairs and spinning wheel were a hit with our group. We were soon smiling from ear to ear and a bit dizzy!
The RedCoats always took the time to stop and chat to us and we loved telling them all about our holiday.
It was down to the bowling alley for a nail biting game. There were high scores all round and it was great to see everyone cheering each other on.
Animals Go Wild was a real afternoon treat. Out on Centre Stage came huge dinosaurs and all creatures great and small from the animal kingdom. We were fascinated to hear all the facts and information presented by the entertaining hosts some of which was even in the form of song!
The amusement arcade provided hours of fun spending a few of our holiday pennies. The 2p game was one of our favourites.
We visited the beautiful city of Chichester. This historic city is a great place to visit. First up we wandered down to the famous
Chichester Cathedral, a very impressive and beautiful building. The well-kept
grounds were well worth an explore too. Through the cloisters we discovered the
Bishops Palace Garden where we were delighted to see that spring was looking
well on its way with plenty of spring bulbs now in bloom. A short walk
through the medieval streets took us to the Chichester Cross monument.
