Our relaxing 3-night break was here at last, a retreat in the heart of Stratford- upon- Avon and we couldn't wait to be pampered.

In our luxurious white robes and slippers we felt very calm and ready to head to the spa.

The pool was warm and inviting and Tammy and Vicky couldn’t wait to take a dip. Susan showed us her swimming skills as she ploughed up and down the pool practising her front crawl and back stroke, what a super swimmer! The loungers were a huge hit, and we chatted away and flicked through magazines! We could definitely get used to this! The sauna and steam rooms were very inviting with the different fragrances and aromas; it smelt divine.

We were treated to two treatments each from Elemis pro-glow brilliance facial which detoxifies and energises skin with a nutritional superfood boost to an all over body deep tissue massage. Pedicures and manicures were also a popular choice! We all emerged looking very serene and relaxed.

Now for another special treat of our holiday! In the beautiful, old lounge, we had the full afternoon tea experience with delicious treats layered onto a tiered cake stand. We tucked into a classic selection of dainty finger sandwiches, warm homemade scones and an irresistible selection of cakes, served with Twining’s classic loose leaf tea. Simply divine! 

We enjoyed walking around the immaculately kept grounds, spotting the wildlife that lived here.

Happy Birthday Tammy! We love celebrating a birthday on one our holidays! Tammy was thrilled to receive a card and present from her friends at JollyDays and also a delicious cake!
