Center Parcs Leisure Resort (Woburn) with Midi & Marguerite

 Center Parcs Leisure Resort

Nestled in the beautiful Woburn Forest we quickly made ourselves at home and we couldn't wait to make the most of all the fab activities they have to offer.

What ensued was a delightful hour or so filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the satisfying sound of pins crashing down. A few strikes and some high scores set the tone for a nail-biting match. In the end, Siobhan was crowned champion with Alan and Denzil close behind.

Next up was the main event – Santa and his crew rolling in like rockstars in a colourful, jubilant parade. The excitement was palpable as we found our front-row seats, and when the man in red finally showed up, it was kid-at-Christmas-level magic.

In full festive mode we then headed towards the snow-covered Winter Wonderland, where the twinkly lights lit up the night sky. It was like stepping into a holiday movie, and we loved it.

Now the magic kicked in. We made our way into a dreamland, through twinkling lights and the joyful hustle and bustle of Santa's elves in a cosy grotto. And then, there he was – the big man himself. Santa greeted us with a hearty laugh and a twinkle in his eye. We chatted, shared a few laughs, and of course, snapped some pics to capture the moment. But the surprises didn't stop there. Santa, being the great guy that he is, had presents for each one of us.

We couldn't wait to make a splash at the tropical pool. Rapids, lazy river, and waves – the trifecta of aquatic excitement. It was like being kids again, laughter echoing through the water-filled fun zone.

It was game on as we hit the bowling alley for a few friendly yet competitive games of bowling. There were some high scores and few strikes. It was great to see everyone cheering each other on.

The games continued as we racked up the balls on the pool table. With a steady hand we all tried our hardest to pot the all important black ball.

In the spacious indoor sports centre, we armed ourselves with rackets and took to the badminton court or ping pong tables and let the games begin.  The pace of play in both badminton and table tennis remained gentle, emphasising the pleasure of shared moments over intense rivalry.
