Attractions of Blackpool with Duncan & Tracey

Attractions of Blackpool
Oh we do love to be besides the seaside and we couldn't wait to explore the bright lights of Blackpool.

After a stroll along the promenade we took the little train to the end of the pier and couldn't resist a ride on the Carousel.

A brilliant day was had at Madame Tussauds, getting 'papped' with our favourite celebs. We walked the rickety bridge to take part in the I'm a Celebrity bush tucker trial. We met some sporting legends and practised our royal wave.

It was great to pose with the 1st female Dr Who and share the microphone with Olly Murs.

A day at the beach and there was only one thing for it.... a tasty ice cream treat!

A brave group climbed the souring sights of the iconic Blackpool Tower. We nervously walked on the glass platform which gave us views all the way down to the ground. 390ft up in the sky and the long stretch of sandy coastline looked amazing.

An underwater adventure was enjoyed, exploring the different rock pools and learning about the fabulous conservation project that happens here at the centre. We discovered an array of beautifully coloured sea creatures and a fearless group walked through the underwater tunnel , with sharks swimming right above us!

We couldn't resist a ride on the beautifully decorated horse drawn carriages. It was the best way to see the sunny sights of Blackpool and we felt famous as the other holiday makers waved at us as we passed by.

Down on the beach we were lucky enough to meet the wonderful lifeguards who were on patrol and we loved being able to pet the famous donkeys.

A boat trip on Lake Windermere was the order of the day and the sun was out in its full glory. We sailed along on the still waters, relaxing and taking in the most stunning scenery.

Back on dry land the girls treated themselves to a transfer tattoo and were thrilled with the end result.

The weird and wonderful things on display at Belive It Or Not museum was mind boggling! We met the worlds tallest man and his friend, the shortest man! We saw all kinds of bizarre things  from a two headed calf to some amazing pieces of art made from unlikely materials.

The beach always looked so inviting and we loved dipping our feet in the cool, blue sea.
