Painting & Drawing in France
At our painting classes everyone did so well who'd have thought we'd have so many budding
Picasso’s amongst us! Our
paintings were brilliant and everyone was so proud of their work.
At the chocolate factory we had great
fun watching chocolate being made, we were able to see an amazing demonstration. We also enjoyed spending time in the gift shop and we all knew that our suitcases will
be even heavier now!
As the weather was so lovely and warm we headed off to the beach in
nearby Hardelot. We then drove to a Château and had a look
around, it was so impressive it looked just like a medieval castle. After a lovely ice
cream, we went for a walk around the town and did a bit of shopping in the gift
shops.
We drove to Clairmarais where we had lunch in the shaded garden of a brasserie follow by a boat trip along the idyllic canals. The scenery was breathtaking and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
In Boulogne we visited the aquarium which is one of the biggest in Europe. We had so much fun, we saw hundreds of different types of fish and corals. We watched sharks being fed and also a sea lion show. We stroked stingrays and watched a 4D film.
In the evening we enjoyed playing board games in the garden or played tournament of pool and other fun games!
