Spanish Coast & PortAventura with Derek, Tini, Candy & Colin

Spanish Coast & PortAventura

We all had an amazing time at PortAventura and experienced some serious thrills! We got drenched on the Grand Canyon Rapids, Silver River Flume and Tutuki Splash. Some brave souls also went on the tallest roller coaster in Europe, Shambhala!!!

At Aves del Paraiso we took a seat in the front row of the stage and were introduced to a large number of exotic birds from different countries. This was a very entertaining and colourful show with lots of fun and laughter. Some of us had the chance to have pictures taken with a parrot on their shoulder.

Showtime! We watched a spectacular and crazy western show at the Bang Bang West. Real soldiers holed up in the guard tower, old wooden constructions, dust, bullets, watering holes, cannons, explosions and gunfire - lots of gunfire!

At la Cantina’s main stage we saw Mexican dancers and live singer with a repertoire of Mexican dances, songs and rhythms. It was amazing!!!

At the harbour we boarded a catamaran and enjoyed the cruise to Cambrils. Once arrive we strolled down the street of the lovely seaside town with many shops, bars & restaurants.

By the swimming pool or on the beach we loved spending time relaxing and soaking up the beautiful sunshine!

On a beautiful day we went to Barcelona for the day. We wandered down the famous La Ramblas street with stalls selling all kinds of souvenir, flowers & artworks. At the harbour we boarded a boat for a trip, it was nice and relaxing. Once ashore we made our way to the impressive cathedral which was constructed from the 13th to 15th centuries.

We had the best entertainment every evenings during our stay, from live bands to Brazilian dancing and fire act performance. It was amazing! We also danced and sang the night away!

  1. Spain is always said to be one of the best places for tourism, I am just waiting to get my Spain visa and I am trying that I get my visa for at least a year or more, so that in future with a Schengen visa I can travel to other Schengen countries as well.
