Warners, Fun & Dancing
The sun was shinning as we arrived at one of our favourite places and we couldn't wait to get stuck in to the super range of activities on offer. We started off with a friendly
competition with Laser Pistol Shooting. After a demonstration and a few
practice shots, the competition began, with everyone vying for the highest
score. Kevin emerged as the victor after two exciting rounds, and we all
congratulated him on his win
Down in the entertainment hall we participated in teams competing against each other in some fun games including Shuffleboard, Molkky & Cornhole where we received a huge round of applause for our efforts!

We decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and head to Chester for a day trip. Upon arrival, we began with a relaxing cruise along the River Dee aboard the Lady Diana boat. We passed under the Queen’s Park Suspension Bridge and cruised past picturesque Grosvenor Park, with the captain sharing fascinating tales about the river’s history. We spotted some local wildlife, including swans and moorhens, as we sailed through the tranquil surroundings. After disembarking, we wandered through Chester’s charming streets and visited some boutique shops, picking up treats and souvenirs along the way.
The evening entertainment never disappoints! From dazzling
tributes to iconic movie musicals, including unforgettable songs from Sister
Act, Billy Elliot, Pretty Woman to performances from Jayne Middleton as Annie Lennox. You would always find us on the dancefloor till late into the night.
We made a splash in the fabulous swimming pool practising our strokes....

Whist the ladies pampered themselves in the spa.

Down at the archery range we showed off our best Robin Hood impressions. After being given some tips from our knowledgeable instructor we were soon firing our arrows at the target board, scoring highly.
A highlight of our evening was meeting the talented entertainment team who happily posed for photos with us.
The competition heated up down in the games room as we had a mini pool tournament where there were some great shots. Sonia,
a former dart enthusiast, showed us all that at 90 years old, she had lost none
of her skill, impressing us with her technique.
