The Wonders of the Isle of Wight
The sun was shinning as we visited the tourist hotspot The Needles. The white chalk jutting out from the bright blue sea was definitely a sight to behold. 
We watched the skilled glass makers at work as they showed us the process from start to finish. Right in front of our eyes we watched a vase being made. We then got to see all of their wonderful creations in the gift shop.
It was our turn to get creative as we filled our chosen ornament with the different coloured sands that you can only find on the island. Everyone was thrilled with their end result and thought they would make great mementos of our time here.
The chair lift was a must giving us incredible views all the way out to sea.
An ice cream treat was always welcome....well we were on holiday after all!
Fun was had on some the traditional fairground rides and stalls and we all won some great prizes!
The sweet factory was a highlight of our week as we watched these delicious treats being made. Luckily for us at the end of the demonstrations we got to try a few samples .
The live entertainment never failed to disappoint. You'd always find us on the dance floor showing off our disco moves.
