Christmas Celebrations
What a brilliant way to start the holiday by participating in a pantomime workshop, taking on the roles of characters such as Cinderella and The Prince. We had great fun taking to the stage performing our own rendition to the rest of the guests.
Game on! We enjoyed a few fun games of darts, pool and table tennis in the games room.
The skies were blue and it was a beautiful, crisp winters day. We took a leisurely stroll around the well kept grounds and down to the lake.
Christmas Day was here and we all woke, excited to see that Santa had been!
Christmas lunch was a lavish affair; we were treated to beautifully decorated tables and a delicious five course feast! We pulled our crackers and donned our hats as we laughed at the silly jokes inside. Full to the brim, we settled down to The Queens Speech and a movie matinee of ‘White Christmas'.
We all cheered as Santa made a surprise visit. He was full of festive cheer and took the time to talk to us all. We made our way to the stage for a festive photograph and to sing him some Christmas carols.
Didn't we all look smart as we put on our best party outfits ready to enjoy a night of more fabulous entertainment.
We were very impressed by the variety and scale of the most spectacular firework display.
There were so many great activities for us to join in with. Everyone had great fun at the Christmas Cha Cha Cha workshop. We had mastered the steps very quickly. This was then followed by a brilliant quiz where we managed a very respectable 14/20, thanks to great teamwork and musical knowledge! We also loved the Archery range, where we had an action packed shoot off as we tried to hit the bulls-eye!
