Blackpool
On top of
the famous Blackpool Tower we had a breathtaking view of the city and the
horizon. At the Blackpool Tower Ballroom we stepped into the beautiful room
dating back from 1894, and were all amazed at the wonderful Wurlitzer
Organ.
Over a cream
tea we had the pleasure to watch all the dancers practising.
We visited the world famous Madame Tussauds Museum, we loved being so close to the stars and got some great pictures of us with them.
On a glorious day in Blackpool we visited the zoo, and spent all day walking around and seeing the many animals. We went to see one of the most popular displays at
the zoo, the Californian sea lions show. Amazing! They are so outgoing and
playful. We saw elephants, pelicans and plenty
more. There was some friendly lemur that let us pet them too.
Another of our outings was to visit the Blackpool Sea Life Centre. There are
more than 2000 spectacular aquatic creatures at the centre. We saw tropical
sharks, graceful jellyfish, clever octopus, elegant rays, colourful reef fish
and many more. It was the perfect way to see the sea life without getting wet! 
At our resort we are lucky enough to have an Equestrian Centre, where we can visit and stroke the horses.
