A wonderful week on the Norfolk Broads left us rejuvenate and refreshed. What a lovely week away we had, cruising, canoeing and sailing on the Broads. During our time in Norfolk we learnt lots about the local wildlife and even learnt some sailing terms - jib, port, starboard, bough and stem! We were very impressed with ourselves for remembering them! We even got to steer the boat which was a firm favourite with everyone!
We drove out to the lovely village of Holt and took a look around the wonderful steam train museum, before climbing aboard for a wonderful journey back in time on the steam train to Sheringham, a lovely, vibrant little coastal town. Everyone loved this day and it was definitely a highlight!
We visited the lovely little town of Wroxham and did a spot of shopping for gifts to take home and remind us of our visit. We also had a cracking game of ten pin bowling where everybody was suitably competitive! We had made some good friends whilst away and everybody said how much they would love to come back next year.
