Florida, Swim with the Dolphins with Derek & Wendy

We arrived in Orlando in the late afternoon, picked up our minibus and drove to Kissimmee where we were staying in 2 luxurious and spacious villas complete with swimming pools.

 It was 15 days of great sunshine, 11 visits to parks which included The Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney Studios, Epcot, swimming with Dolphins at Discovery Cove, Universal Studios, Sea World & a relaxing day at Blizzard Beach Water Park.

 

There were so many great rides, stage shows, parades both day & night & firework shows. We met many Disney characters and collected autographs. Swimming with the Dolphins was perhaps the highlight for many and we also had the chance to swim amongst rays!

Gifts were bought on several occasions and no one went home without a memento of our fabulous holiday!

 

At home we had BBQ’s by the pool and some mornings we would even have breakfast out in some of the famous restaurants, such as IHOP & Bob Evans. Evenings, if we weren’t BBQ'ing we would go to dinner at places such as Italian, Chinese, Steak houses, Outback, Planet Hollywood and other such wonderful restaurants.

 

Although we went to so many parks it never felt as though we were rushing about. It was all done at a reasonably relaxed pace and some of that is due to everybody being ready to go first thing in the morning. We were all so excited!
