What incredible fun we had on the gorgeous Norfolk Broads! We loved our lovely comfortable bungalow and made ourselves at home right away. We set off to explore the beautiful village of Horning set on the River Bure where we had a delicious dinner.
We spent some delightful time on the broads, gliding leisurely along on our motor cruiser, spotting the beautiful local wildlife as we went. We saw golden crested grebes, marsh warblers, ducks and herons! Well done to everyone for some fantastic steering of the boat!
We had a glorious afternoon on the canoes, learning from our instructor how to reverse and paddle correctly - we were all pro's by the time we had finished!
Everyone loved our morning sailing and everyone soon got the hang of controlling the boat - oh what fun we had!
We had a smashing game of ten pin bowling followed by a delightful walk along the prom at Great Yarmouth in the sunshine. It was then off to the greyhound races where we had the most fantastic fun cheering the dogs along!
We had a cracking visit to The Magic Kingdom in North Walsham. The Davenport family of magicians have one of the largest collections of magic memorabilia in the world! We saw a wonderful magic show on stage and they performed tricks on us that made us gasp in wonder!
Our trips to the pretty villages of Ranworth and Little Plumstead were loved by all, taking in pretty canals and quaint houses. What a fun holiday we had in Norfolk - we can't wait to come back again!
