Ski Austria- novice & intermediate level with Derek & Colin

Ski Austria - novice & intermediate level

We were all so excited to have arrived in the picturesque village of  Russbach in Austria. We hot footed it to the ski rental and got kitted out with all the gear. We met with our ski instructors who were  so friendly.

The views were like something you'd see on a postcard. The peaceful village, the bright blue sky with the glistening, snowy mountains in the backdrop was simply magical.

Everyone was in high spirits after a great day skiing. Most afternoons we rewarded ourselves with a spot of Apres Ski! Cheers!

Ben and David always had a smile on their faces and had mastered the snow plough and turns to perfection.

Ben was also a lot more confident on the button lift.

The 2 Matthew's impressed their instructor, Adrian straight away with their confidence and controlled skiing. They went straight up in the cable car to the top on the red run.

Andy looked a natural on ski's and he and his instructor, Stefan explored and conquered some of the more difficult slopes. It was a great achievement.

It was carnival week and we loved people watching, as many of the locals were in fancy dress and in the party spirit. We were all too happy to join in with the singing and dancing. There was a great atmosphere!

After a full day skiing, we always looked forward to our evenings meals in the local, traditional restaurants. We enjoyed sharing our days with each other and the evenings were always full of talk and laughter. As you can see, we always treated ourselves to the most decadent pudding! We deserved it!

Matthew G was invited to spend the day on the slopes with Colin and Derek. They were all greatly impressed by his technical ability. This allowed Matthew W to show Adrian what he was made of; he was a speed machine!

The group had formed a great bond and we all felt so proud of everyone's achievements in just a few days. We can't wait to come back next year!
