Potters Leisure Resort with Derek & Faye

Potters Leisure Resort

We had the best entertainment every evening during our stay, from live bands to dazzling shows. We danced and sang the night away!

Our week was packed full of fun activities where we we all gave it a go! Everyone did so well!

We joined in with the competition of spinning the wheel. It was great fun and we had tears rolling down our faces with the banter that is so typical of the entertainment team!

We had a lesson in bowls and managed several ends, improving all the time with the expert tuition.

As the sun was out we took a walk to the coast and looked over the sea and just enjoyed being out in the fresh air.

Having booked our sessions, it was off to the shooting range to test skills at archery & air rifle shooting. Everyone did amazingly well and at the very end we all received medals to show off our skills!

We enjoyed the usual ten pin bowling competition.

We all had a fabulous time at Potters and have great memories to take home!

Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside with Steve & Michaela

Norfolk - Boats, Trains & Seaside

We boarded on the steam train called the Black Prince. The journey took us along the Norfolk coastline to the seaside town of Sheringham where we spent several hours browsing around the market and shops before boarding the Black Prince once again for our return to Holt.

We had a cracking time at then pin bowling and some great scores were made.

On a beautiful sunny day we went out sailing on Barton broad. It was the perfect weather for sailing and all agreed it was a fantastic experience.

As the weather was so good, one evening we decided to have a barbecue and also baked cookies for desert.

We boarded the Nancy B, a beautiful cabin cruiser.  We spent all day exploring the Broads. Everybody took a turn at steering the boat.
At the end of such a great day, we all earned a captains certificate for the boating skills.

What a fantastic week with an amazing group this has been!!!

The Wonders of the Isle of Wight with Phil, Tini & Isobel

The Wonders of the Isle of Wight

We enjoyed visiting The Needles where we filled ornaments with different coloured sands to take home. We also went to Alum Bay Glass Factory and watched how beautiful vases and ornaments where made.

After a beautiful drive to the pretty little village of Godshill, we explored the incredible model village. We had so much fun there and felt like giants next to the small architecture!

We had a super game of ten pin bowling in Ryde, which was great fun! Everyone achieved smashing scores!

We enjoyed a lovely walk along Ryde seafront. We were lucky to see the Hovercraft coming in at high speed. Most of us had never seen this before and were delighted to have witnessed it. We stopped and had lunch before going into the amusements to spend a few pennies at the arcades and tried to win the small prizes.

Our evenings were packed full of fun and laughter. Every night we watched different entertainment shows with a lot of singing and dancing.

Our trip to the Isle of Wight Zoo was awesome! We had a great time walking around whilst looking at all the animal which consisted of lions, meerkats, monkeys, wallabies and plenty more.

What an amazing holiday to remember!

Butlins, Fun & Dancing

We couldn't wait to arrive at Butlins!  At the fairground, we had an amazing time on the rides, these included the Go karts, bumper cars, waltzers and the Carousel.

We had fun at the amusement arcade playing different games but the famous 2p machine was the favourite.

We had friendly competitive games of ten pin bowling, pool and crazy golf! Everyone tried there best and some great scores were made!
For a change of scenery we left Butlins and visited Skegness Natureland where we saw Harbour Seals, visited the seals hospital, saw penguins, crocodiles and loads more.

We saw some spectacular shows where we sang and danced every night! We saw The Brotherhood Of Man, the brilliant Ray Lewis who is the former lead singer of the Drifters and many more.
