Warners, Fun & Dancing (Littlecote) with Oli & Sandra
Warners, Fun & Dancing

It was a perfect day for a stroll around the beautiful grounds of Littlecote which led us to the archery range. Our instructor gave us a few top tips and before long we were hitting the targets and our confidence and enthusiasm grew with each round.

Today brought a special celebration as the group marked Kevin’s birthday with singing and smiles. The day’s outing to Bucklebury Farm and Deer Safari Park was a highlight, with opportunities to meet animals, enjoy a woodland walk, and take a memorable tractor ride through the deer park. Feeding and interacting with the deer created plenty of excitement. A visit to the charming town of Hungerford followed, where the group enjoyed a peaceful canal journey with the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust aboard the Rose of Hungerford. The gentle pace, scenic views, and onboard commentary made for a relaxing experience.
The final full day began with the much-anticipated duck race in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, with plenty of cheering and laughter despite no winners from the group. A walk around the grounds, including a visit to the Roman mosaic, was followed by a relaxed afternoon of swimming, puzzles, and film-watching. The farewell evening featured lively performances from Sahara Blue and the Cover Story group, with everyone making the most of the final night on the dance floor.
