This was a summer holiday at it's best! We were blessed with huge dollops of glorious sunshine throughout our holiday, enabling us to enjoy beautiful Devon to it's full potential.
We enjoyed endless views of natural beauty and visited many picturesque places. We explored the pretty villages and harbours of Torbay, Dawlish, Postbridge, and Chudleigh Knighton.
We spent a fantastic day at Widdecombe Fayre in the Dartmoor National Park. We ambled amongst friendly animals and were able to stroke them. We loved looking at the stalls and attractions! On another day we visited the Donkey Sanctuary which everybody adored.
We went to lovely town of Sidmouth where we strolled long the beach and devoured a heavenly cream tea....... (dare we mention the ice-creams!?)
We visited the lively Totnes Market where some of us bought souvenirs to take home. We went to Buckfastleigh and had a beautiful steam train ride. We wandered around an excellent World War II exhibition.
We spent a wonderful afternoon in Kents Caverns, a network of prehistoric caves with an astonishing history!
We let our creative flares come to life as we did a ceramic painting workshop - Well done to all for some fabulous designs!
