Cyprus Sun with Steve, Michaela & John

    Cyprus Sun

Our hotel was fantastic! We all loved relaxing around the swimming pool or down the beach which was only a few meters away. In the evening we all enjoyed dinner on the terrace with stunning views.

We went on the original open top red bus tour to the Turkish side of the island. We had a tour guide giving us a commentary on board about the sights we saw and the history leading up to the Turkish invasion in 1974. We toured the walled city of Famagusta and saw the ghost town left unoccupied since the war.

We spent our evening in town exploring the buzzing streets and listened to live music in fantastic bars. We also took part in friendly pool tournament.

We took a boat trip along the coast where we explored the caves of Cape Greco and visited the Blue Lagoon where some of us swam in the beautiful clear water.

The hotel entertainment team was fabulous! There was music and dancing with glittery costumes and different dances from around the world which we all loved. Some of us even performed karaoke.

Attractions of Blackpool with Darren & Paula

 Attractions of Blackpool

We had a brilliant time at the Madame Tussaud's wax museum, we mingle with the rich and famouse and had our photos taken with our favourite celebrities.

At the famous Blackpool Tower we took the lift to the top where we had a breathtaking view of the city and the horizon, some of us even stood on the glass floor.

As the weather was so nice we went along the pier to go on the rides at the funfair. We all went on the dodgem cars and were laughing so hard when we kept bumping into each other. After a few other rides we decided to go the arcades and kept winning on the 2p slot machines.

At the Blackpool Tower we had a wonderful time in the ballroom watching all of the professional dancers. We enjoyed afternoon tea whilst watching the performance and some of us even joined in with the dancing.

At the Cavern we had great fun walking around looking at all of the Beatles memorabilia. There was even someone playing live so we sat and listened to him playing the well known Beatles songs.

We also walked down to the famous Albert Docks and went into the Liverpool Museum. We had a great time looking at the many things that Liverpool is associated with and even watched a short film documenting the Beatles journey from the very beginning.

Butlins, Fun & Dancing with Phil & Netty

  Butlins, Fun & Dancing

During the week we sang and danced to amazing music! We especially loved the Madness tribute, the brilliant Ragdolls and the famous Four Seasons! What fun we had on the dance floor!

At the bowling alley everyone tried their best to get a strike! Well done all for some excellent scores!

At the funfair we tried out so many terrific rides. We especially enjoyed the beautiful carousel.

Another day we went to play mini-golf. We obtained our putters and tried our luck on the course.

On a beautiful sunny say we set off for our steam train ride from Minehead. We went through some stunning countryside and lovely beaches during our ride. We stopped at a seaside village with a beautiful harbour.
